Estate planning involves the provision of a set of legal, financial, and accounting advisory services to help clients transfer their assets to heirs in a tax-efficient way. Most estate planners have law, accounting, or finance degrees and certifications—and for good reason. In India, estate planning is a complicated maze of regulations, laws, caste-based practices and judicial interpretations. These all affect how the estate is shared with the next generation.
This program will help the participants in developing a deep understanding of fiduciary duties and responsibilities that go with the role of a trust and estate planner and in understanding the legal and practical realities of creating and administering trusts.
