Fintors, or Finance Mentors, represent a distinguished community of finance faculty and professionals who go beyond their day-to-day roles to drive national capacity building in finance education.

They act as vital connectors between students, Equalifi's platform, and the financial services industry, contributing to skill-building and industry readiness. This title emphasizes practical, mentorship-driven expertise in finance training and professional development.

They serve as vital connectors—guiding students and young professionals, contributing to research and knowledge initiatives, delivering skill-building sessions, and fostering industry linkages to enhance employability and professional readiness.

Objectives

  • Organize Equalifi skill-building sessions.
  • Conduct financial literacy initiatives and workshops for investors.
  • Participate in Equalifi national and city events.
  • Guide aspirants and young professionals through mentoring.
  • Contribute to research, knowledge initiatives, and financial literacy activities.
  • Circulate Equalifi research, publications, and updates among finance aspirants and professional networks
  • Organize at least one knowledge/networking session for Equalifi Members in their city.

Anjali Bansal is the Founder and Managing Partner of Avaana Growth Capital, an investment platform that invests in and provides business building support for the scaling up of high growth companies. She was previously global Partner and Managing Director with TPG Growth PE, Spencer Stuart India CEO, and strategy consultant with McKinsey and Co in New York and India. She has also been an active angel investor in India with investments in various early and growth stage consumer companies.

She serves as an Independent Director on the boards of GSK, Bata India, Tata Power, Voltas and Delhivery and on the Advisory Board of Columbia University South Asia. She has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat University and a master’s in International Finance and Business from Columbia University.
