Amar Merani is Head – Real Estate at IIFL Asset Management.
In his role, he leads the team for the real estate strategy managing all aspects of fund, processes, interface developers and clients.
He has a rich experience of more than two decades in fundraising, exits, and executing high-yield structured credit transactions at leading firms.
Prior to joining IIFL AMC, he was MD & CEO of Xander Finance, where he led by building up the team and setting up policies.
He has built strong relationships with developers, landowners, banks, NBFCs, and HFCs.
His previous stints include Kotak Investment Banking, Lazard India, IL&FS.
He is an active member of industry associations such as Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI), National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and others.
He is an electrical engineer from VJTI, Mumbai and holds an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai where he specialized in Finance and Operations.

Arnab Kumar is Director, India Market Expansion for Coinbase. Previously, he was India Director for Fintech Investments & Strategy at Prosus. Arnab’s professional credentials also include serving as Program Director, Frontier Technologies at NITI Aayog and working as an Investment Banker for Deutsche Bank across their New York and Singapore desks. Arnab is an alumnus of Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and is a Chartered Financial Analyst

Bhavin has more than 16 years of experience across the wealth and asset management industry. As head of products at 360 one Asset management (formerly IIFL), he is responsible for conceptualisation, structuring and creation of products across multiple asset classes like public equity, private equity, credit and real estate. In addition to 360 one, bhavin has also worked with organizations such as IDFC Bank, Edelweiss and ICICI Bank across wealth/asset management industry.

Total experience of 26+ years in the Indian Capital Markets, Banking. Predominantly a custody and project management specialist. Deven has worked with leading names like ANZ, Standard Chartered, ABN Amro and Citi in the banking & custody space. A custody set-up specialist and has been instrumental in setting up custody for ANZ, ABN Amro and SBI-SG. He has handled various functions in custody operations like Clearing & Settlements, Corporate Actions (Income Collection, Voluntary Events, and meetings), FX, Cash Management & Derivatives Operations, Market Intelligence, Product Development in different capacities. In Citibank he was heading Corporate Actions & Income Processing for Foreign & Domestic investors. In the project management role he handled the launch and support of ABN AMRO Bank’s online retail broking operations in India.

Pranav has over 25 years of successful investment experience in US and Indian markets with a focus on risk-adjusted returns. ~ 15 years across private equity and credit strategies including high yield, convertibles, distressed debt with Q investments, a $4 bn multi-strategy funds in the US. Long standing buy side experience across the most sophisticated capital structures and various strategies including public and private equity as well as special situations such as merger and convertible arbitrage, spin-offs, recaps and LBOs. Set up the current PE/VC investing Crossover platform at NWM. Pranav is the Fund Manager of the venture-focused debt fund – Nuvama Crossover Yield Opportunities Fund and the successful late-stage growth equity-focused Crossover Opportunities Series of funds. Pranav has also managed Crossover I and II under Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd. Previously set up and created Q Investments’ franchise in India with investments in private equity and public markets. Recognized as Private Equity Deal Maker of the Year in 2009, India by Global M&A Network, US.
Has delivered profitable exits from key investments in India while providing significant cash returns to investors during one of the toughest times globally for the investments industry.

Pranav is a CFA Charter Holder from CFA Institute, USA, and a BE in Industrial Engineering at MS University in India. He graduated with Honors in the MBA program from the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas with a concentration in Finance.

Mr. Sandip Shah, Head of IFSC Dept. at Gujarat International Finance Tec – City Co. Ltd (GIFT City). GIFT City is developing an International Financial Services hub in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Mr. Shah has over 12 years of professional experience in Project Development, Policy Matters, International Financial services regulations and Securities market. Mr. Sandip Shah is a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration with specialization in International Finance. He has also done Diploma in Foreign Exchange and Risk Management and Company Secretary – Intermediate from Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Saurabh is a Chief Investent Officer (CIO) of credit strategies for Incred Alternative Investments Pvt.
Ltd He also heads the SME lending business at InCred Finance, the NBFC arm of InCred Group.
Saurabh joined as founding member of InCred and has 20+ years of experience across the credit and financing business in Asia.
He was earlier associated with Deutsche Bank, leading the private financing and performing credit business for India and Southeast Asia as the Managing Director.He was running a team of 25 analysts and structures split across India, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
With that, he was also responsible for direct lending, leverage, acquisition financing, and Holdco financing.
At Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong, he was part of the private credit business focused on Indian Markets. He started his career at ICICI Securities in investment banking services.
Saurabh holds a postgraduate from the prestigious IIM Bangalore, is a CFA charter holder, and has an undergraduate degree in commerce and accounting from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata.

Yash has 15+ years of overall experience, with 13 years in real estate investing & asset management,
during which he worked on transactions of over USD 600MM.
Prior to joining Welspun One, Yash was Principal at Proprium Capital Partners, an independent fund
manager who manages an AUM of c.USD 2BN (set up in 2013, as a result of restructuring in “MSREI” –
Morgan Stanley’s RE Investment platform), where he was actively involved in setting up of the India
office, in addition to being responsible for the asset management of the MSREI SSF III India portfolio and
the sourcing & execution of new deals.
Yash worked in Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI) from 2007, where he was in investing and
asset management roles, including leading the asset management efforts for MSREI’s India portfolio.
He holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration from the Welingkar Institute of
Management, Mumbai, and a B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai
University.
