The BVI Financial Services Mission, through a series of roadshows across 4 Indian cities, aims to create meaningful financial services opportunities between BVI financial services professionals and India’s rapidly
expanding investment community. This initiative is designed to strengthen commercial relationships, deepen regulatory dialogue, and position the
British Virgin Islands (BVI) as a leading international financial centre supporting India’s growth.
Bringing together senior government officials, regulators and leading private sector representatives from the BVI, the roadshow will connect directly with India’s most influential financial institutions, investment firms, family offices, professional advisers and policymakers acrossDelhi, GIFT City, Mumbai and Bangalore.
As India’s international financial services ecosystem continues to evolve, the British Virgin Islands is well-positioned to support this growth through its internationally recognised corporate and investment fund products, modern legal framework, and a cadre of respected financial services professionals operating globally.
The Mission’s primary purpose is to deepen engagement between the British Virgin Islands and India’s rapidly expanding financial services sector, ultimately capturing greater BVI market share in India.
As a non-tax treaty partner of India, the BVI seeks to strengthen its position as a leading international financial services jurisdiction, offering both a compelling alternative and complement to treaty-based jurisdictions such as Mauritius and Singapore.
By leading with its internationally recognised niche investment fund products and flexible corporate structures, the BVI aims to establish a distinct position in India’s next phase of international investment growth.
The mission is designed to engage senior decision-makers from across India’s financial services ecosystem, including:
